MileStone is a place where you will find the most honest people on the planet. People who are willing to share their stories of hope and redemption in Christ. We are a body of believers who openly witness and freely minister to those within their own communities. We are not ashamed of our faith and the challenges that come with living out that faith.
MileStone is about true worship, the study of the Word, living in community, and equipping people to become disciples who make disciples. Our goal is to become a CHURCH FOR THE CITY. Through experience we have learned that this is not possible unless WE become a people who are passionate about Christ, who love each other, and who are reaching out to our communities.
It is not our desire to grow through programs and buildings but through the investment and equipping of those who wish to walk in the Spirit of God and to transplant themselves back into their own communities. We are a new testament church which believes in bringing worship to places that worship never exited.
Milestones focus is to lift up His name. The Word promises that “… the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14. Milestone desires is to be a part of what God is doing.
My personal ambition is to impact the world for Christ and His kingdom. That begins with the part in Richmond / Rosenberg that He has entrusted to me, and the co-laborers He has brought alongside me, but that is only the beginning…
Milestone Church is a New Testament Church existing for the supremacy of the Name and purpose of Jesus Christ.
In Jeremiah Chapter 29 we see Jeremiah speaking to God’s people who are exiled in Babylon, calling them to, ‘Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.’ (Jeremiah 29:7)
Just as He did then, God is also now calling us to build a great city, renewed and redeemed by a gospel movement, by being A CHURCH FOR THE CITY of Richmond / Rosenberg that labors to advance the gospel throughout the nations.
In order to do this we must learn to love and know God. We must move forward in equipping and mobilizing disciples to transform the city and then the world both in Word and in deed. We must catalyze and cooperate with other churches and organizations who labor for this same goal. It is from this heart that we have established 3 vision goals:

- Partner with organizations for accountability
- Launch Milestone with the focus of worshipping God, training people, living in community, and making disciples.
- Find like minded churches and organizations that we can partner with in becoming a Church For The City.
